Clinical Supervisor

Danielle Matias

Danielle Matias, LMHC, LPC has been practicing psychotherapy for over 10 years. She provides the FBTC therapists with support in all clinical work. She is dedicated to assisting the community confront and overcome mental health struggles. She specializes in anxiety, depression, addiction, marriage & family, social injustice, sexual abuse, trauma and LGBTQ+ community. She believes in a person-centered approach and wants every client in the clinic to feel unconditional positive regard, acceptance, warmth, and quality care.

Lourdyes Alger

Lourdyes Alger, LMHC; MSED has been practicing psychotherapy for over 8 years. Lourdyes provides clinical support and utilizes Person-Centered approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness. She has worked with both children and adults who have suffered different emotional/physical and sexual trauma. She has worked with clients that have anxiety and/or depression symptoms. She helps her clients focus on achieving their goals and building up their confidence.

Michelle Fuentes

Michelle Fuentes, LCSW is a dedicated psychotherapist that began her clinical career attaining her social work degree from Lehman college.  Michelle has successfully completed EMDR training and is specialized to work with trauma survivors.  Michelle enjoys working with Spanish Speaking clients and also utilizes Christian Counseling when it is appropriate or upon request. She is SIFI certified and supervises a team of msw/lmsw therapists.

Assistant Director of Human Resources

Denisse Puello

Denisse Puello joined the Footprints Team as a Hiring Manager in May of 2022. She is responsible for recruiting, screening, interviewing, hiring, and maintaining all employees of Footprints. She works to hire our Interns, Limited Permit Holders, and fully-licensed clinicians. Denisse guides our employees through the onboarding process as smoothly as possible. She ensures that our employees are allies of the LGBTQIA+ community, and believe in the Footprints mission statement.

Medical Billing Specialist

Carl Jordan

Carl Jordan joined the Footprints Team in February of 2022 as a Medical Billing Specialist. He is responsible for making sure that all claims and copayments get properly processed. Any billings errors that may happen along the way will be resolved by Carl and he will do his best to ensure that it is all handled smoothly in order to avoid giving clients any difficulties with their services.

Albert Iglesias

Albert joined the Footprints Team in April of 2021 as the Primary Medical Biller. He is responsible for making sure that all claims and copayments get properly processed. Any billings errors that may happen along the way will be resolved by Albert and he will do his best to ensure that it is all handled smoothly in order to avoid giving clients any difficulties with their services. Moreover, Albert is fluent in Spanish, and is ready to assist clients with any concerns they have in regards to billing.

Sheyne Benoit

Sheyne is Footprints video editor for capturing all of our moments here at Footprints. He is responsible for ensuring all moments captured at Footprints are edited and uploaded via our Youtube channel.


Human Resources Director

Jovana Russell

Jovana Russell joined the Footprints Team in August of 2022 as the Human Resources Director. She is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the practice. She is the main point of contact for our interns, and provides them with the resources they need to successfully compete their internship. Jovana's warmth, compassionate, and welcoming energy makes clients comfortable speaking with her to resolve any questions/concerns they may have. She believes in the Footprints mission statement and strives everyday to give our clients the help they are looking for. 


Intake Coordinator

Crystal-Irene Brito

Crystal Brito joined the Footprints Team in March 2022 as Administration Support. She supports the Intake Department on a daily basis ensuring all tasks are completed by the end of day. If anyone in our Main Office staff is out, Crystal will fill those shoes to ensure all clients are taken care of appropriately.

Intake Director

Elizabeth Gonzalez

Elizabeth joined the Footprints Team in August of 2022 as the Intake Director. She is responsible for client intake, registrations, and referrals. Elizabeth  manages a team of intake coordinators and they work together to make the onboarding process seamless. The Intake team supports the therapists by providing case load management. They are ready to assist clients with any questions or concerns before starting the treatment process.

Marketing Specialist

Jakiema Stevens

Jakiema joined the Footprints Team in September 2022 as our Marketing Specialist. She assists in promoting the services that Footprints provides to the New York, New Jersey, and Florida communities. She works on our social media and creates enthusiastic and motivating mental health content. She works to showcase our variety of clinicians and excellent customer service abilities. Jakiema is creative and skillful in multiple platforms in media and marketing management, and brings in experience from her own personal clothing business.

Executive Assistant

Frayri Garcia

Frayri joined the Footprints Team in January 2023 as our Executive Assistant. She provides administrative assistance, such as writing and editing e-mails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive’s behalf. She assists in organizing meetings, including scheduling, and sending reminders. Frayri manages the executive’s calendar, including making appointments and prioritizing the most sensitive matters.

Human Resources Assistant

Roosevelt Shaw

Roosevelt joined the Footprints team January of 2023 as our Human Resources Assistant. He assists with day to day operations of the HR functions and duties. He provides clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives. Roosevelt processes documentation and prepares reports relating to personnel activities (staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations, etc.) Roosevelt also deals with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations.


Billing Specialist 

Erik Henriques

Erik joined the Footprints team January of 2023 as our Medical Billing Specialist. He assists with preparing and submitting medical claims to insurance companies. He ensures all patients medical information is accurate and up to date. Erik follows up on missed payments and resolves financial discrepancies. 


Intake Coordinator

Alicia Henderson

Alicia joined the Footprints Team in February 2023 as our Intake Coordinator. Alicia gathers information by about the patient and creates patient records. She works with a team of coordinators and ensures that every client receives the care they need.

I am a LMHC in NY with over 3 years of counseling experience. I work with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, stress and relationship issues. Betsy Paulino

I am a licensed mental health counselor with many years of experience working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, and symptoms related to trauma, amongst other symptoms. I provide a safe space for individuals to speak openly about their issues and feel that they are in a setting that is free of judgment. I am bilingual (Spanish)  and can provide sessions in Spanish; I have experience working with those from different cultural backgrounds as well.

Aviva Levitin

My career began as a dietitian(RD). I have experience working with anorexia nervosa, binge eating disorders and body dysmorphia. Kyle Calderon

I find that people are often not aware of their strengths; with this in mind, I like to focus and build on them. Faith Cohen

Ms. Faith Cohen earned her Master of Education degree from CUNY Hunter College in New York City. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, and a CASAC, Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (NYS). Since 2008 she has worked in outpatient and residential treatment as a Mental Health Counselor, Substance Abuse Counselor, Rehabilitation Counselor, Vocational Supervisor, Vocational Director, and Clinical Program Director. Ms. Cohen has had the great fortune to quickly climb the ladder due to her education, expertise, experience, and emotional intelligence. Ms. Cohen is a seasoned professional. Before working in social services, she had a successful career in real estate sales/management, until she realized she needed more purpose in her life.

Ms. Cohen treats patients from diverse populations and cultures and those struggling with an array of issues related to career/work challenges, depression, anxiety, substance use, addictive behaviors, self-esteem, personal growth, grief/loss, relationship issues, and stress management. She will work with you to help reveal no longer self-serving behaviors and help you move forward to accomplish your goals and realize your dreams.

Belky Perez

As a licensed mental health counselor and registered clinical supervisor. Dr. Perez provides therapeutic services that draw from cognitive-behavioral therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care approaches. She is a fan of brain-based approaches, especially as they relate to the neurobiology of trauma. Her approach to working with clients is a collaborative one, that invites clients to be the experts in their lives, creating new meaning from their experiences through the therapeutic process.

Lisa Wilkinson

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), in the states of Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, and New Jersey with a mission to increase mental health awareness and improve behavioral health functioning in all communities. My passion is teaching behavioral interventions to handle issues that arise from smaller daily stressors to larger issues. My clinical focus has been on helping clients recover from trauma by utilizing Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Structural Therapy, and Mindfulness. My training taught me to look at the entire person and their environment, not just the "problem". Some of my strengths are working with the entire family, focusing on improving relationships among family members, providing psycho-education and parent training to teach co-parenting, how to manage their child's behavior health issues, and transition management. My most recent work is with Military families and Veterans, providing short-term and solution-focused counseling to service members and their families, going through various transitions. enjoy working with clients on gender and racial identity, as well as sexual, and emotional abuse.
